halloween [a little late.]

colin and i think we are so so funny. so on halloween we dressed as ourselves...give or take a few years. luckily i think we will be a pretty good looking old couple, if it's compared to anything like this photo.

we both had to work, so after we watched Hocus Pocus, which is a Halloween must. we had one doorbell ring for the trick-or-treaters. we were so excited for trick-or-treaters this year, but we realized as we were about to open the door that we didn't really have any candy for them...so we hid in our house and felt a little sad. we will get you next year trick or treaters.

i work at an elementary school and it is wonderful. on Halloween all the staff dressed up. and a couple kids asked me what i was suppose to be..."umm...what does it look like i'm suppose to be?" "i don't know..." kids make me laugh, and i love my job. i will have to inform you of some very funny work stories one day.

i must say, colin makes the best old man ever. he was pretty dedicated to this costume. we got him a cane, and he insisted on having Velcro 'old man' shoes. it took us awhile to take the photo because i was laughing to hard when i saw him. i just love that man.
